Kevin first joined Lancom in 2005 as a Systems engineer, but we knew he was made for relationship management! In his first 7 years at Lancom he helped us solidify our Managed Services practice, and grow our customer base through building solid solutions for New Zealand SMEs.
Seven years later, Kevin re-joined Lancom as a Sales Director, after working for organisations such as Spark & Dimension Data. We chatted to Kevin about his career aspirations, and the motivation to return to Lancom.
“In this time of digital technology disruption a number of businesses are transitioning from traditional technology models. Companies are having to adapt to change faster than they ever had to. We are seeing big organisations be disrupted by start-ups, and new business models emerge.
I see Lancom as a solid ICT company, equipped to help organisations with this disruption. Our software development capability paired with having a cloud-first approach, lead by vendors such as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure allows us to enable businesses to move away from large capital driven IT spending.
In coming back to Lancom, I merge the agility that Lancom can deliver with the experience acquired after working for some of the largest New Zealand ICT companies, to achieve our business mission: create leverage through technology, enabling our clients to grow."
